A private waterfront home organized around tropical indoor-outdoor life.
Located within the gated community of The Shores, this canal-front residence is a contemporary interpretation of Cayman mid-century modern architecture. Clean lines, warm natural materials and expansive glazing create continuous relationships between interior rooms, sheltered courtyards and the waterfront landscape.
The 4,921-square-foot house brings together four bedrooms, formal and informal living rooms, an open kitchen with full scullery, and a detached cabana. A two-car garage can expand to accommodate a third vehicle.
Landscape as architecture
At the center of the property, a dramatic terraced pool combines lap swimming and leisure areas. Layered decks support lounging, dining and entertaining, while the detached cabana and BBQ area extend the house toward the canal and create the atmosphere of a private resort.
